Narkis Street Congregation encourages and supports over a dozen families, groups, and individuals throughout Israel, the Middle East, and the world who are being the Good News. We strive to reach out to all in Israel - whether Jew, Arab, or alien with the love of Jesus.

An example of our work in the past year are:

We supported Palestinian orphanages in Bethany and Bethlehem, and a Jewish foster home for abandoned children in Jerusalem. We painted the orphanage in Bethany, bought new mattresses and new sheets for all the beds.

We assisted many Sudanese refugees who arrived in Israel with nothing but the clothes on their back. We provided rental assistance, clothing, Hebrew classes, paid their utility bills until they found work and were able to stand on their feet.

We supported a number of widows and widowers.

We helped struggling believing families and in particular their children who needed scholarships for camps and school.

Areas of Giving to Consider:

Benevolence: emergency aid for needy believers and victims of terror and war

Camp Scholarships: full and partial scholarships for children and youth camps

Widows and Orphans: assistance for projects in orphanages and aid for widows and their families

SLA Fund: assistance to Christian Lebanese Refugee families in Northern Israel

Youth Fund: funding for youth work in the Jerusalem community

Holocaust Survivor Fund: assistance for the last living survivors of the Holocaust

Childrens Fund: funding for children events and work in the congregation
